03/16/2005

Laurel, MD -- Raytheon Solipsys is participating in this year's Computer, Math, and Physical Sciences (CMPS) Corporate Scholars Program (CSP) at the University of Maryland, College Park. Beginning in June, the program will provide highly-qualified CMPS students a combination of scholarships and internships related to their fields of study.

This year's candidates will be interviewed and selected based on position requirements developed by Solipsys' Human Resources Department and members of the engineering staff in the Visualization Department. The intern will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of Tony Wetmore, a Senior Software Engineer for the company.

In addition to what promises to be a challenging and rewarding 12-week experience, the CSP intern will also receive a $2000 scholarship from Solipsys.
